Argentina: Pachamama, Sushi & Jjamppong

April 2026

Pachamama Museum

Pachamama Museum, Amaicha del Valle

This artistic museum pays homage to Pachamama (Mother Earth), a deity revered by the indigenous cultures of northern Argentina. It features fascinating statues depicting shamans and indigenous motifs and patterns on stone walls.
Incredibly beautiful. Although this wasn’t our first visit, we were once again deeply impressed.

Pausa de el Porvenir

Pausa de el Porvenir, Cafayate

The scenery, the service, the food, and the wines made for a wonderful lunch. The restaurant’s ambiance is beautiful. The decor has been thought out down to the smallest detail.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the terrace with its magnificent view of the winery and the vineyards.

Bodega Dal Borgo

Bodega Dal Borgo, Animaná

Scenery + winery + food—simply superb.
A winery run with great attention to detail. The view of the vineyard from the restaurant and terrace is breathtaking. The barrel cellar is spectacular, and the labels and names of the wines are something special.
The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! Highly recommended for a visit and a delicious meal.

Sushi GO Downtown Salta

Sushi GO Downtown, Salta

We wanted to have sushi again for a change.
Since we arrived at the restaurant very early at lunchtime, we were able to enjoy our meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant isn’t very large, and it was packed after an hour. Luckily, the weather was nice, which prompted some guests to eat outside. The Executive Menu offer - 15 pieces of sushi of your choice - is excellent and reasonably priced. We were satiated and very satisfied.

Jjamppong

Kimchirang Korean Restaurant, Salta

An unforgettable experience thanks to friendly service, excellent food quality, and a cozy atmosphere. Everything was delicious!
The Korean seafood ramen (Jjamppong) I ordered turned out to be an extremely spicy noodle soup with chili, mussels, squid, and shrimp. Since we like Asian food—and therefore spicy food—this was the perfect place for us.
This was also one of the reasons we visited the restaurant a second time.

Complejo Museológico Explora Salta2
